Mr. Gant has over 30 yrs experience in the people business. 20 +years in law enforcement 10 of those while served in the U.S Air Force. He received his Masters degree in business. Dwan has worked with the IDD for years and is passionate about advocating for PRS in our community, he is detailed and highly motivated to ensure the best quality of life for PRS. As a host home provider for 10 years he experienced the need in this community for ongoing assistance. Dwan opened United Providers in 2013 in the hopes to continue advocating and pursue positive changes for person with IDD.

Pastor Robert Dias is now the CEO of United Providers after being one of three residential coordinators with United Providers. For 3 years, he has dedicated his time and strengths to others through God and United Providers .His love for the Lord is what brought him to United Providers. He enjoys helping others and has developed numerous relationships with those he serves. Always going above and beyond to those he comes in contact with. The persons who receive services with United Providers enjoy spending time with him. His witty sense of humor or a word of encouragement is what others enjoy about him. Pastor Rob philosophies on life are serving the Lord God as well as serve others who God has called you to serve. Pastor Rob draws spiritual strength and inspiration through his faith. He also believes the bible is the true word of God, and that all Christians- himself included- has a responsibility to preach the word of salvation to all. United Providers is blessed to have him part of the United Providers family.

When Paul had his business in Colorado in 2005, he met around a hundred or so people receiving services and wanted to be involved with them somehow. He asked a few of the (PRS) and then the (PRS) introduce him to a few Staff Members. Paul started getting training on his own to show how devoted he was to the DD population. He has been involved with the DD population for about 10 years and it has been life changing for him.

James is originally from New Haven Connecticut and has been in Colorado Springs since 1991. He arrived at that time via the Air Force and retired in 1997 as an Air Force Medic and Licensed Practical Nurse. He has over 40 years of medical experience with the past three years being a Registered Nurse. He graduated from Pueblo Community College Nursing Program in 2014 and has been licensed since 2015.

Tiffany Congrove graduated with a bachelor’s in Business and a Master’s in Education. She has been working with the DD population for about 15 years now. Tiffany worked in the schools in Texas and at Memorial Hospital as a Nurse’s Assistant and in Patient Access in Colorado Springs before moving up north. She has worked as a teacher in the northern part of Colorado teaching Special Education for 6 years. After relocating back to Colorado Springs in 2015, she decided to change career paths and work more in the social work field and began working with the Resource Exchange and with another PASA in the area running a Day Program and helping expand services from the Denver/Aurora area down into the Colorado Springs area. When the opportunity came up to help expand services for United Providers, Tiffany was happy to offer assistance to a company that she thought would do well in this area.

I have worked in the field of case management including delivery of direct services to individuals since 1987. I started out at a community mental health center, then worked at the Department of Human Services in child protection serving this at risk population. I was an administrator in this agency. I worked at a community center board in Colorado Springs for 9 years providing services to the IDD population working with children, adolescents and adults. I enjoy serving and helping people of all ages and abilities reach their goals in life.

My name is Julie Waugh and I am one of the Residential Coordinators at United Providers. I come to this job with substantial experience in this field. I have been blessed to work with people with IDD since I was a teenager and have worked in this field in one form or another for over 20 years. I most recently worked at a Community Center Board for eight and a half years and was a host home provider for four years. I thoroughly enjoy working as a part of a team that supports people in reaching their goals and ensuring their health and safety. I approach case management with a service-minded attitude and very much enjoy what I do.

Alainia Spann is a residential case manager with United Providers. Army Veteran. Nine years Law Enforcement experience, civilian and military combined. Alainia has a B. A. in Emergency and Disasters Management and previously work with FEMA prior to moving to Colorado 3 years ago. Alainia Spann enjoys problem solving and assisting Adults with disabilities achieve life goals.

Arthael Alexander

Arthael Alexander, most call him LB, is a veteran of the United States Air Force. Arthael has been working with adults with DD/IDD for 7 years. He’s done everything in a PASA, from direct support to day program manager, and residential case management. He has extensive knowledge of the ADA through his work as a state certified ADA coordinator through the Rocky Mountain ADA Center. He has completed trainings with the CDC, advocating for social justice for people with disabilities, and Arthael has worked as an advocate for El Paso County Courts to help adults navigate through the court system. In his spare time, he enjoys playing sports, doing music, and spending time with his twin sons.

Michele is a Veteran who has served in the United States Army for seven years. After her service she went ahead as a LPN with Memorial Hospital for two years. Wanting to build a rapport with her patients Michele decided to work as an Independent nurse requiring her to be a CareTaker, with setting up appointments and creating a daily itinerary. Michele would later chase her passion for fitness by becoming a certified personal trainer with Golds Gym. Two years of tracking clients progress and aspirations, she found new ways to keep her clients accountable and passionate. During this time frame Michele has always made time for her three children, where she became a part of several after school programs and volunteering when time allowed. Seeing the great good in our youth Michele decided to pursue a staff level position at Howbert Elementary. Sending additional time with underperforming students with valued one on one time and assisting multiple teachers even when time was not allowed. Michele is excited for her new endeavors with United Providers.
